Tell us about those plastic bags that hold produce longer than most containers......

We knows you want to put one over my head......still won't preserve my brainbox any longer
it's already pickled...... Evil

Silly Windmill - but the "green bags" really do keep fresh food longer
than most bags. Though they're not perfect, I had to throw something
out yesterday that I had forgotten about. I didn't even recognize
what it was!

I think they are definitely worth it. I have noticed it most with bananas and tomatos. But other things, too. You can't put wet things in them, so make sure they're dry
first. I like them.

I read an interesting thing recently - bananas last longer if you seperate them from
the bunch when you bring them home. Since I then put them in the green bags,
I don't know which is doing the trick!

I didn't get mine from the TV ad, I happened to go to a kitchen store in an Outlet Mall,
and there they were! I saw someone else buying them, so I did to. And I'm not
sorry.

I saw them at the flea market, I`m gonna try them out this summer, when I get my garden started again.
