The Christmas Tree!!! Merry Christmas To One & All!!

Could have put this in poem area but, wanted to give a Christmas wish lol... if you need to move go ahead, but didn't see a Christmas greeting lol..... have a merry christmas everyone!!!

As we gather round our tree
Just think of what it use to be...
It was just a twig
Not very big....

As seasons passed
It grew strong and was sure to last...
One hand, two hands, five hands more
Now it would fit, in that spot near the door...

So, with axe in hand, you chopped it down
The children were so happy dancing round and round....
A special spot
For it meant a lot...

The lights had to be just right
For they lighted up your Christmas night...
Gifts a plenty, under it did go
And peacefull songs did flow...

But, now it is turning brown
And you must tear it down...
You will use the wood to give you keep you warm
From the chill of the coming storm...

What once planted in love, For all to share
And sheltered you with care...
Lies broken in the snow
But tomorrow will once more give freely, joy of warmth from the roaring of a woodstove...

Wishing one and all a Merry Christmas and A Very Happy New Year!!!  May this seasons, turmoil turn to dust and be sprinkled across the land to spread joy and health and wealth to one and all... May friends new and old call, may you always find peace in your life....Take care my friends and know that my thoughts are with all of you wishing you the best for this holiday season and the whole year through....
