The woman who dressed her young daughter as Dolly Parton - complete with a padded bra and sculpting underwear - for a child beauty pageant that aired on TLC's "Toddlers & Tiaras" could lose custody of the girl after her estranged husband claimed she sexually exploited their daughter by allowing her to dress so provocatively.

WOW! I have never been a fan of pageants for toddlers.. but that's.. wow

If it were I as the judge, I think I would have to take the child and put them in custody of a family member with strict orders and investigate both parents since allegations are struck on the father as well.

My belief is, if the child begs you for a shot in a pageant, you should explore those reasons, talk with your child extensively about the implications and go from there. I do not believe that a parent should throw this upon a child under any circumstance. And by all means, keep the outfits to cutie toddler or child stuffs! Sheesh.. there's enough sleeze in the world!

But from this, there should be rules and regulations laid down as to how far the parents can go. No padded boobs!

I thought the girl looked cute.  cked
But the pageant thing is a bit much, I have watched this show, and the children do not really learn good values from being in these "beauty" competitions.
It seems like the moms are living vicariously through their daughters, so sad.
