Mishandled, anger is destructive. Used properly it can be a spire to action. We want to right the wrong, so our anger, when listened to, can move us along. How can we use anger for good? We must be WISE. We must be SENSITIVE. We must know our own HEARTS and MINDS. We must be in contact with our own ENERGY. We must know when we are losing controls of ourselves. To be useful right thinking person, anger must be be connected with non - violent action. It must be empowering, not distinctive.

Hear are some questions to ask yourself about your way of handling anger.

What kind of things make me angry?
Is my anger chronic?
Am I angry at the same things over and over again?
Can I Change these things or change my response to them?
How do I feel about my anger?
Am I uncomfortable with it?
Do I fear it?
What can I learn from my anger?
Does my anger show me where I want to go with my life?
Do I act out my anger by striking out?
Do I act on my anger to change my response?
Can I experience anger without losing touch with wisdom?
Can I experience anger without losing my compassion?
How can I transform my anger into empowerment?

What we focus on, we empower and enlarge. Good multiplies when focused upon. Negativity multiplies when focused upon. The choice is ours: Which do we want more of?

What kind of things make me angry? Just about every thing.
Is my anger chronic? I believe it is.
Am I angry at the same things over and over again? Yes. It seems like a vicious circle.
Can I Change these things or change my response to them? I usually cant change things that set me off. I do try not to get angry. My mate also has anger issues and its not helping. I will get back from my walk, he will be i a bad mood, and it affects me. Visa/versa I`m sure I set him off the same way. How to stop this? Leave the relationship? I have considered it.
How do I feel about my anger?I feel it is out of control, I am filled with hate. Hate is a word I use way to freely and often.
Am I uncomfortable with it?Yes. I feel sick from it sometimes.
Do I fear it? No. I use it to get through life. Like a friken wall.
What can I learn from my anger?I have no clue.
Does my anger show me where I want to go with my life?Unsure
Do I act out my anger by striking out?I lash out verbally. I usually drink to mask my feelings, that is no longer an option.
Do I act on my anger to change my response? not sure what this means.
Can I experience anger without losing touch with wisdom? Yes.
Can I experience anger without losing my compassion? No. That goes out the window. Its all about me, selfish and angry.
How can I transform my anger into empowerment? Need to think about that.

Anger is a scary emotion. There's nothing wrong with being angry but when you lose control of it and It spirals into rage... you can't control rage and someone ALWAYS gets hurt. Coming from someone who spent a lot of time being angry.
