I have three favorites, there are others I like, many I don't.

My number one favorite is "Mutts" - I love the drawing of the cat and dog, and the old man and woman - the whole look of it, and yesterday a huge tiger appeared over the cat (a dream?) and said simply, "Save us." Quite powerful.

It's a tie for numbers two and three - again I like the over-all look and drawing of these strips. "Blondie" (for nostalgia's sake, I guess) and "Mother Goose and Grimm." (Grimm is Mother Gooses dog.)  We no longer get that strip in our paper, and it is so much better than most others.

One strip I intensely dislike, and don't find funny is Dillard.

Are there some strips others of you like and dislike?

I like: Archie, Blondie, Peanuts, Beetle Baily.
I dislike Dick Tracey, Dondi, Just Rose, and Dunesbury...

Odd, but I can only remember those few, I know I`m forgetting some.

Doonesbury is not my cup of tea, either. Not comical to me - shouldn't a comic have a little humor?  cop

A certain quality of Just Rose that I like, is her fantasy life as a biker. I sometimes live in a fantasy, too (I've been told).
In fact, I think my whole life could be spent in fantasy-land, if possible. Scratch that........

Doonesburry is rather unfunny.... At least I know how to spell it now.  Cheesy

I wish I could live in a fantasy too at times...life is pretty harsh these days.

I haven't seen Snuffy Smith for years - when I was a child I had a ceramic "Sparkplug" Snuffy's horse, as I recall.  Smiley

There used to be some old TV program, maybe Jack Benny, that had pretend horse races, and the announcer would say, "And here comes Sparkplug"! I can't remember for sure which show it was.  Roll Eyes
