I read about this just today. They are having problems with Zone Alarm and their most recent update.
People need to give it time otherwise they'll keep having the same problem. Either Microsoft or Zone Alarm need to make adjustments to keep the internet working on those computers with Zone Alarm.

Has the recent update cause you any problems? Freaked me out when I couldnt get on line. Lucky for me I run Linux on our other computer, otherwise it would have taken longer to figure out how to correct the problem.

I'm not using Zone Alarm, so it didn't effect me. I think Darth Marley told me at Moist Board that Zone Alarm has an update which fixes this problem.

Not all of these fixes are necessary. Sometimes it's best to wait a bit before installing some of these security fixes.
