Is it wrong to remind people what you have done for them?

That`s also hard to answer. Age makes a big difference when you are under 18. As I`m sure you know, there are laws against people over 18 dating minors.
But...If two people are of age, than I would say it makes no difference, IMO.

I don't think it is wrong

If someone lets say 17 and the guy is 22 at that age you are almost adult

and can make your choice

Not according to the law. Seems unfair, but then... who ever said all of our laws are fair?

I agree with Clouds that as you get older, the age difference doesn't seem to matter as much. It was a big deal for me to date a senior when I was a freshman in high school and that was only a 3 yr difference. But I have a friend who is married and they are 5 years apart. She's 27 and he's 32.

I`ve seen relationships like that work.
But I imagine one wouldn't have a lot in common with a person 15 years older than ones self...The bigger the age gap, the less you will have in common, IMO. You have to be willing to make compromises and work at it.
Although... that is true in any relationship.  Smiley

Bill and I are only a year apart, so I can`t speak from experience.

Age does not matter to a heart that beats a little faster when their loved one is around or their hearts desire...

Only problem is that sometimes when a girl or boy grow older they no longer see that person as their hearts desire, thus laws to protect them.... but the feelings are just as real as with older people... most of us know that but at the time we feel like our feelings are being ignored...

My advice is to look at the person you think you love and say if it is true and strong then it can wait till I am of an age when I know this is right!!! JMO

IMO the only reason the law should be involved is if the parents of the younger person don't like the idea of the two people dating and they date anyways...........
