why is it now they decide to drop gas prices?
Bush asked OPEC to increase production some time back, they they did. The increase in suppy enabled the companies to lower prices. This was probably done by Bush in order to make the Republicans look better.
However, OPEC is due to meet again soon and discuss cutting back production. Unfortunately, this will probably mean prices will go up.
