The legend of Mr. Potato Head Santa
He was made with a friend (while we were both under the influence) a simple potato, sealed first with silver spray paint.
Roofing nails were inserted for his eyes and a row of staples was his mouth. We cut out some red paper and rolled it into a cone, fringed with cotton. The cotton also served as a beard. He was quiet unusual. Not being content with just keeping him around the house, he somehow made it to the office Christmas tree.
It was only several days later that the receptionist noticed this ornament was hanging around, staring at her. Yes the holiday came and went and Potato Santa went back to the garage where he was created.
This however was not the last of Spud Chris Kringle. He appeared the next year at the office, although some mold did seep into his mantra. Gave a few around the jeebees, which was the intent of the creator.......
