The Countdown Has Begun!!!!

Tis almost time
Spent so much on Christmas, now I am left with only a dime...
The kids are all fed
And tucked safely in their bed!!!

It is time to party, and make some plans
And just see who is the last to stand...
Party we will
Dress up pretty, who cares who ends up paying the bill!!!

Our credit cards are maxed
And the govenment is taxed...
We ate so much
And we are out of luck!!!

Promises to be made
And bills to be paid..
We will smile
And laugh, if only for a while

Ten pounds to be lost
But oh the cost
Can't do it today
God, please help me find the way!!!

Ah, I give up
That cheese cake has to be eaten up!!!
And then there is Valentine's
Chocolates and sweets my true love does fine!!!

Then it is easter
And I ain't no waster...
Those chocolate bunnies
And skies so sunny....

Then summer comes
With the heat and sun
Ice cream to cool
And fun times in the pool...

Then just when I think
I might fit in pink
Halloween is apon us
And my seams I do bust!!!

I make a promise so clear and true
So don't be blue
Next year the same wish
A little less on my hips and in my dish!!!

Ah what the heck!!!
It is just a little peck...
One more year
I shed a tear!!!

The weight is left, I finally give up
As long as I can still get in my pick-up truck!!!
