Kind of silly but wasn't radio a means for artists to promote their music.That's how many stars became what they are today..getting that first song aired on the radio.I guess with You Tube and the internet radio has become a thing of the past.I see a lot of news radio in the future if the record labels get their way.How about the record label industrys not signing their "fly by night stars" for millions of dollars in the first place.Again the rich peeing on the little people.
