A white nationalist had her children taken away by authorities after she drew a swastika on her daughter's arm and sent her to school. The woman sent her to school with the swastika on and then the teacher scrubbed it off. The mother then drew it on her arm again. The social workers said in court that they were concerned about the "parents' conduct and associations" and were worried about the emotional well-being of the children Do you think drawing a swastika on her daughter's arm is reason enough for the government to take her children away? http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2008/07/10/swastika-child.html

Well... I don`t know. The Nazi`s murdered thousands of people... Do you really think you should be referring to them as Nazi`s?
They are very heavy handed though, and our rights are disappearing at an alarming rate. We really do need a smaller government.

I just think the mother should have thought about the consequences. Everyone has the right to their own beliefs and values, but where and how you display them is a different story.

She was being stupid, but to loose her children over it? That is rather harsh, IMO.

Free thinking, free speech, freedom of expression are one thing. It is totally different to do it all thru an innocent child. These days the "innocence" stage is very short, and personally I plan to help my children stay there as long as they can
