Life Throws Punches...

Don't ask me why
Cause all I can do is cry....
Tis just not fair
They say to dream if you dare!!!

But, just when the wall come down
Here comes a stronger new round....
I try to stand tall
But, the world is tettering and there I fall!!!

Some money comes along
And you think you can breathe and finally sing a happy song...
But, that song turns sour
Before the midnight hour!!!

What looked like a good plan
Has put you in the frying pan....
All good intentions are for naught
Better run now, before you get caught!!!

When it rains, it sure does pour
And the devil is a knockin at your door....
How come you say, does it always turn out this way
I will tell you my friend it is because it once more is your day!!!

Whoever said it was fate
Never came knocking on my gate....
Cause fate is to strong
And it has lasted lifelong!!!!

So, now here I sit with grey hair pondering my life
The pain I have endured, has cut many times like a knife...
But, when I reach out
You are by my side without a doubt!!!!

So, was it worth the path I took
Where one could read me like a book...
I say yes my friend
For without out trials the truimphs would mean nothing my friend!!!

So, when life gets you down
Stop, breathe and look around....
Be glad of what you have found
For there are thoses who reach out and no-one is around!!!!
