Ok funny on one level...but these dudes were out drinking the night before and think it's a big haha...I feel sorry for the poor chick behind the desk probably making less then 10 bucks an hour and a waste of two patrol cars and 4 cops.... like really!

I did this once, a long time ago, got a jay walking ticket!!! Cost me $53.00, only reason I got it was because the smart assed cop thought it would be a way to meet me and take me out to dinner.... what really got me is I had just stepped off the curb to follow four men, and they did not get stopped!!!

I was annoyed to say the least!!! Then the cop showed up at my place of work with flowers, cut ones lol... if he had asked me he would have found out I detest cut flowers, they die too quickly and I would much rather have had a nice little plant!!!  Anyway, when he asked me out, I refused.... I then took the card with his offer on it to the clerk with a shoe box full of loose pennies.... giving her the box which had to be reinforced lol to stay together, I told her to get the cop on the card to count them and that I didn't want dinner or flowers from him.... His buddies thought it a hoot!!!

On an added note, I went to the policeman's ball with another police officer!!! He was not amused, but hopefully that taught him that is not the way to treat a lady!!! cop cop cop

Yes, that is what I thought, he did however try several times afterwards to get me to go out with him.... finally a couple of his friends on the force told him to leave me alone, that he had lost and just give in....

We finally became friends of sort, but, he never completely gave up on trying to get me to go out with him.... don't know why he was so persistent maybe I intriqued him lol... but after a year I moved away and I hope he finally found someone that could accept him, but I think I taught him that was not the way to meet....

I even told him of how a young man once walked up to me and gave me a cut white rose and said that my smile made his day and he just had to say hi... I dated him several times and we became friends.... much nicer than trying to get my hard earned money lol!!! laughing laughing laughing laughing

You were unattainable, and in his eyes that made you that much more attractive. (Just my theory.)  Grin People tend to want that which they cannot have.
