A high school in Greater Cincinnati has banned cheerleaders from wearing their uniforms to class because the skirts are too short.
The school had a dress code that required all skirts to be no shorter than three inches above the knees.  So the rule was applied to cheerleading outfits.
The girls can wear the outfits if they wear "leggings or long shorts under the skirts.

Do you think cheerleading outfits are too short for school?

think about it... if it's too short for school, and cheerleading is part of school, they should change uniforms... if u go to a football game and are wearing something "not school appropriate" ur not allowed in... y should cheerleaders be any different??

I think they are being too strict.
But on the other hand...skilletkittennadal7 has a good point.

When I was in high school, the skirts were below the knees.

Do you think these uniforms are too skimpy for college cheerleaders?

Besides would that be a distraction for the players?

According to my wife a lot of schools have the requirement that the cheer leaders have to wear something under the short skirts when in class.  This isn't all that unusual, it would seem.
