The University of Miami has banned freshman from using cars during their first year at the school. The reasons are to "encourage public transportation, ride sharing and biking." It is also part of the effort of the University to go green. http://tinyurl.com/5vypyf

I am all saving gas But I don't think they should have the right to ban students from using their cars.

I think that might be bad for business. Especially if students live far away. Then they would have to have family come pick them up whenever they wanted/needed to go home.
