Too many people say "no problem" as an answer "to thank you". The correct response is " you're welcome".

I can see where yup would be offensive. Gotta be careful in todays world.

Or when they are busy chatting with their coworker about what time they get done from work and "can't wait to get the hell out of here"

That is rude, they act like the customer is invisible... Have you ever told someones boss when you got treated bad in a store or restraunt?
I`ve been temped, but never have. But there is always a first time.
