WASHINGTON - Congressional leaders have released final legislation to create a $700 billion bailout of the financial markets.
The House plans a vote on the rescue bill Monday. The Senate is expected to follow later this week.
The rescue is the largest government intervention in financial markets since the Great Depression. It would let the government take over huge amounts of devalued assets from beleaguered financial companies in hopes of unlocking frozen credit

Yep...We get to foot the bill for people who spent more money than they had. I resent it. I have never in my life taken out a loan. If I can`t afford it, then I`m not getting it. End of story.

With the election only a month away they are reluctant to vote in favor of it.

The problem with the bill was that it gave the Secretary of the Treasury unprecedented powers to basically do whatever he wanted to with the money. Plus people know that the only way the government can cover this is by raising taxes.
