Nixon was impeached but he resigned before they removed him from office
Nixon was never impeached. Clinto was impeached but not removed from office. Nixon quit before they could impeach him. I do have a feeling that Obama could end up being the second President to quit office due to various scandals.

Actually I was a bit wrong on that. While the House Judiciary Committee did approve articles of impeachment against him and did report those articles to the House of Representatives, Nixon resigned prior to House consideration of the impeachment resolutions and was subsequently pardoned by President Ford. Davagator corrected himself already, silly. It will be interesting to see what happens no matter who gets elected. There is going to be a lot of unhappy Americans either way IMO.

Obama's got some weak spots which the news media is currently ignoring. His links to the ACORN group, for instance, which is accused of voter registration fraud. Plus the reports that his campaign is taking in foreign money as contributions. However, the media changes at the drop of a hat. If Obama is elected I suspect the media will begin to focus in on these accusations eventually looking for a new story.

Obama originally claimed he has "no connection" with the Acorn group. Then it came out he actually trained them. He changes the comments on his own website to he "never worked for" Arcorn, now stating that he never drew a salary. Acorn is known for allowing bogus voter registrations through. Obama also worked for another voter group which was closely tied to Acorn.

The problem is, IMO, that the media focuses on McCain and Palin`s bad points, while obama gets away with every lie he tells...He is the media`s darling right now, and it makes me red hot angry. The Acorn thing is just being brushed aside. When they do decide to look into it, the snake may already be our president.

This is exactly what is going on. However, I believe that if he is elected President Acorn and the campaign funding will eventually come to light, and then the press, without any other stories to sell newspapers, will turn on Obama and go after him. This will eventually force a House investigation, same as it did with Clinton.

Unfortunately, I think the press a while back gave up just reporting the news and opted to decide what they felt was news. They feel the story now is Obama being elected President. However, once they need a new story I think they'll start digging into Obama's various suspect activities.
Just as Nixon's "dirty tricks" came out after the 72 election.

The media has been such a big contibutor to all of this mess. And, unfortunately, a lot of the most watched news channels are often liberal minded.
