These types are articles make me furious!  RRM

An 8-year-old Ashford boy died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while firing an Uzi submachine gun at a gun fair, police said.

The boy, identified Monday as Christopher Bizilj, lost control of the weapon while firing it Sunday at the Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo at the Westfield Sportsman's Club in Westfield, Mass., police Lt. Lawrence Valliere said. The accient occurred at about 2 p.m.

Christopher was with his father and a certified instructor and "was shooting the weapon down range when the force of the weapon made it travel up and back toward his head, where he suffered the injury," a police statement said. Police called it a "self-inflicted accidental shooting."

May be going on a limb but the Father and the instructor should be charged.

I just don't understand the logic. There is none! Hell, if I was 8, I would be scared to even touch the thing.

I still can't believe that anyone there really though it was okay for an 8 yr old to shoot an uzi. God bless the man that was standing nearby thinking, "this isn't right" but did nothing.

Very good point. Seems like someone at that place should have had more sense.
